We need a fermentation scientist who will validate Fermvyne's predictions against real experimental data, build the case studies we use to prove the model works, and translate customer feedback into product requirements. You'll be the scientific interface between our computational model and the bioreactor floor.
- 4+ years of aerobic fed-batch fermentation experience (E. coli, yeast, or filamentous fungi)
- Hands-on experience with kLa measurement and scale-up parameter development
- Ability to read and interpret experimental data critically — not just report numbers
- Experience with DCS platforms and data logging tools a strong plus
We need an engineer who can make our simulation pipeline faster, more reliable, and easier to scale. You'll work on the core computation layer — the FBA solver integration, the data ingestion pipeline, and the job queue that connects customer uploads to protocol outputs.
- 3+ years of Python development, ideally in scientific computing or bioinformatics
- Familiarity with numerical optimization or linear programming (LP solvers)
- Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS or GCP) and container-based deployment
- Background in biology or chemistry is valuable but not required — curiosity is
We hire for skill and domain fit, not to fill boxes. If you're a metabolic engineer, a bioprocess modeling expert, a science writer who knows fermentation, or a designer who can communicate technical content — and you want to help precision fermentation teams succeed at scale — tell us about yourself.
